LEBANON 🇱🇧 (HEZBOLLAH)   ⏳   ISRAEL 🇮🇱

  • The IDF’s ‚Arrow‘ system intercepted a missile sent from Yemen that triggered sirens across the center of Israel, the IDF confirmed on Friday.
  • Israeli fighter jets hit approximately 220 Hezbollah sites in Lebanon Thursday. The strikes targeted structures used by the militant group, rocket launchers firing into northern Israel, weapons storage facilities, and Hezbollah operatives. 
  • Israeli fighter jets eliminated Hezbollah’s drone unit chief Muhammad Hossein Sarur in precise strikes in the Lebanese capital of Beirut on Thursday https://lnk.sk/bkxa
  • The air force will stop any arms transfers from Iran to Hezbollah and is preparing to assist troops in any ground operations against the Lebanese group, Israel Air Force chief Tomer Bar said on Thursday.
  • Macron and Biden released their 21-day ceasefire call while Netanyahu was en-route to New York. The Prime Minister’s Office sent a message from the plane stressing that it had not yet accepted that offer
  • The 21-day ceasefire proposal was endorsed by 10 other countries and entities: Australia, Canada, the European Union, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
  • They called on Israel, Hezbollah, and Lebanon to adhere to a settlement based on UNSC Resolution 1701, which set out the ceasefire terms for the Second Lebanon War in 2006.
  • Such a step would necessitate Hezbollah pulling out of the area of southern Lebanon near the Israeli border and moving back to the Litani River. Hezbollah has long violated that resolution. 
  • In a statement released by Prime Minister office there was only a proposal on the table and that he had not yet responded to it. Israel denied that there had been any directive to ease up on fighting on the northern border with Lebanon.
  • “We are continuing to hit Hezbollah with all our power, and we will not stop until we achieve all our objectives, first and foremost the return of the northern residents to their homes,” Netanyahu told reporters.
  • French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday called on US to pressure Israel to accept a plan for a 21-day ceasefire with Hezbollah in Lebanon, saying an Israeli invasion would be a huge mistake.
  • Hardline government ministers, local leaders in northern Israel and some opposition politicians urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reject a brewing ceasefire proposal aimed at halting several days of devastating airstrikes on the Hezbollah terror group Thursday.
  • With a US official and Israeli media claiming that a decision on an internationally backed deal could be imminent, even Opposition Leader Yair Lapid offered only milquetoast support for an agreement, while other dovish politicians largely remained silent on the issue. 
  • Because of ongoing sirens and missiles, Rambam medical center in Haifa has moved its operations downstairs to the parking area which serves as a bomb shelter, since Sunday they have successfully and safely delivered 50 babies
